Acepromazine, a main ingredient of SEDAJECT injection, is a Phenothiazine derivative and as such an excellent and very well tolerated tranquilizer. Acepromazine controls mental and nervous states and relaxes the autonomic nervous system by controlling central nervous system (CNS) of animals. This action makes a conditioned reflexes which can occur by change of situation and change of behavioral pattern induced from sudden change of mental and nervous state mild and makes excited animals docile in order to treat easily. Furthermore, Acepromazine is an effective ingredient since its therapeutic effect is similar to other Phenothiazine derivatives and is stronger than Chlorpromazine and Promazine and its side effect is rare relatively.
