Feature and Benefits
MEGAFEN injection is a Florfenicol 30% antibiotics that has no problem of Chloramphenicol preparations such as aplastic anemia and bacterial resistance even though it belongs to Chloramphenicol series. It shows stronger antibacterial activity and higher safty than Chloramphenicol, 48 hours' durable potency with only one injection, and good efficacy against swine pleuropneumonia, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, bovine respiratory disease(BRD), etc.

Cattle : For curative treatment of bovine respiratory disease(BRD) caused by Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, etc. susceptible for Florfenicol
Swine : For curative treatment of pneumonic complex like swine pleuropneumonia or SEP(swine enzootic pneumonia) caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, etc. susceptible for Florfenicol

Dosage and Use
Inject intramuscularly in neck region once a day as follows and additionally treat with same dosage at 48 hour interval.
Cattle : 1mL per 15kg of body weight
Swine : 0.5mL per 10kg of body weight

Precaution(s) and others
1. Discontinue use in cattle 28 days and swine 14 days before slaughter.
2. Do not use during the period of mating, pregnancy and milking.
3. Do not inject over 10mL of product into a body part because partial tissue damage can show due to an intramuscular injection, and inject around neck certainly.
4. Edema and erythema may show around swine's anus for a time after treatment.
5. Decrease of feed or drinking water's ingestion or diarrhea can show temporarily after treatment.
6. Treat in accordance with the direction of veterinarian.
7. Using 18G's needle is recommended due to the solution's high viscosity.
