Feature and Benefits

samu OXYMYCIN injection is a broad spectrum antibiotics with a bacteriostatic action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and furthermore rickettsia, some mycoplasma, chlamydia, some atypical mycobacterium and ameba. The bacteriostatic effect is based on the inhibition of Glutaminic acid metabolism in the cells, thus inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins. Hemolytic and non-hemolitic Streptococci, Clostridiae, Brucella and Klebsiella are highly susceptible to samu OXYMYCIN injection. Moderate susceptibility is shown by Corynebacteria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, E.coli and Bacillus anthracis. Proteus, Pseudomonas and Aerogenes spp., Shigellae, Streptococcus faecalis and Staphylococci are relatively resistant. Besides being active against bacteria, samu OXYMYCIN injection is also active against Spirochete and Rickettsia.
After parenteral administration, Oxytetracycline penetrates quickly into blood and tissues, producing high concentrations there. Since Oxytetracycline is bound to serum proteins, therapeutical levels remain in the body for fairly long times and therefore one injection per 24 hours is sufficient. At therapeutic dosages it does not cause toxic reactions.
In brief, feature and benefits of samu OXYMYCIN injection is :
1. It is a broad spectrum antibiotics.
2. It has rapid penetrating power and high blood concentration lasts long.
3. It has rare toxicity.
